30 weeks, 2 days

Today's ultrasound showed that everything has remained unchanged and I am still plugging along. Towards the end of last week I was hopeful that they would let me go home soon as things seemed to be progressing so nicely and one of the doctors even said it would be a possibility, but because of a few little bumps in the road, a bunch of contractions last night, and a cervix that has continued to shorten, it looks like I will remain for the duration. Bummer. Even Jacob's shirts are barely able to cover my big belly anymore...hopefully I won't have to resort to hospital gowns!!!
