Big Day Out
Since we have been on house arrest for weeks now and the babies and I have not gone anywhere together aside from the doctor, we decided it was high time to fly the coop today. They aren't allowed to go in public yet because the risk of them catching some germs and getting RSV is so high right now, so that makes outings a bit tricky. Not to mention handling three babies out by myself is a bit hairy! So after I spent about a half hour getting the kids packed up, into their car seats and into the car, we were off and free! But where to? We drove into Redmond and got a carwash, which lulled the babies to sleep. Sounds pathetic, but I really enjoyed it and I wanted to drive through the carwash again and again. You've got to remember here that I spent months in the hospital and have been stuck at home since being released, so anything out in the real world is quite thrilling to me. Then we went to the Wendy's drive-thru, sorry kids no kids meals for you yet! And then sadly, our adventure was over and we had to head home because not only was it feeding time for babies, but someone's diaper was quickly filling up the car with a stinky green cloud. My, how my life has changed.

I can't even imagine how you begin to pack up the car!! Who do you put in first? How do you fit all the seats in your car? Is your diaper bag the size of a suitcase? The list of questions go on!! You must be an amazingly strong mama!! ... and to have all the babies happily in their seats, dressed in adorable hats with cute blankets is a feat in itself!
