We had a fantastic vacation at Sunriver with Jacob's whole family. We really enjoyed being around the whole family, getting lots of help with the kiddos, and just relaxing in a different setting. Jacob and I got to get away a few times and enjoy some alone time and we took the kids out and about and had them experience some new things.
All of the grandkids (left to right: Ashley, Reece, Preston, Ellie, Kate, Cade, Shelby and Chase)
We took them swimming for the first time in their adorable new swimsuits (courtesy of Great-Grandma Wanda).
Kate LOVED the water and kicked her little legs just as fast as she could. She is going to be a great swimmer some day! Chase hated the water until I started bouncing with him, then he was happy - go figure. Reece absolutely hated the water and didn't even like his little toe dipping in. He screamed almost the entire time in the pool. He did stop crying for a few minutes when a bug floated by and he got to inspect it.

We also took them to the playground, decked out in their new hats and sunglasses (courtesy of Grandma Judy) and slathered in sunscreen. It was HOT! They got to swing, go on the teeter totter, and go down the slide.

My Dad lives in Redmond, OR, which is very close to Sunriver, so the kids finally got to meet their other Grandpa Bill and Great-Grandma Florence (my Grandma) for the first time. It was a happy reunion and it was great to see my Dad and Grandma holding my sweet babies.
Overall, it was a great vacation filled with fun, relaxation, and happy times!
