Boo Boo Yip

A few months ago, Chase had a tumble and got a boo boo on his lip.

The wound quickly healed, but months later, he still talks about his "Boo-boo yip."

In fact, all three kids talk about boo-boo yips, even though their lips are just fine.

This week however, Kate did a major faceplant. 

The poor girl hit the ground HARD, face first. 

Actually she was on the treadmill when she bit it.

Don't ask.

Her top teeth punctured her lip in two places and the darn wound gushed blood like I've never seen.

Then the swelling started and her top lip got so big that you couldn't even see her teeth when she smiled.

Now she has a real reason to talk about "boo-boo yips."

At least she was still able to suck her thumb :)
