Heavy Machinery

These kiddos are totally obsessed with heavy machinery.

They know the names of each piece of equipment better than I do...

Excavators, loaders, rollers, graders, bulldozers, cranes, cement mixers, dump trucks, skid steers, and so on.

Every time we drive by a construction site, they yell out all of the names of the equipment they see and they have a total meltdown, shouting "More, more!" when we drive away.

They know Daddy works at a construction site and they constantly want to go visit him. Each day they repeat the same phrases over and over...

"Daddy at work. Excavators."

"Daddy at work. Cranes."

Lucky for them we do get to go visit Daddy at work frequently. 

And sometimes they even get to sit in the machines.

All was fine and dandy and we were having a great time....

until Daddy fired up one of the excavators.

Poor little C-Man freaked out and was yelling, "Daddy, GET OUT!!"

Then he wanted to go sit in the car because he was so scared.

Reece was pretty impressed though...

and got to go help Daddy load dirt into his truck.

While Kate was sitting in the bulldozer, she filled up her diaper (if ya know what I mean) 

and now she frequently reminds us, "Kate pooped in bulldozer."

That's my girl :)

Once the excavator was turned off and everyone was out of it, Chase was ready to come out of  the car again. Now he reminds us every day that "C-Man didn't like excavator."

Mini-rollers are much more his style (as long as they are turned OFF).

And of course, everyone threw a monster fit when it was time to leave.

That's always fun.
