60 Days of Fun

Today marks my 60th day in the hospital. Sound like a long time? Try living it. I feel like I have been in here half my life. But we have come so far and can finally say that we made it to 34 weeks! I never thought I'd make it this far and neither did the doctors. My doctor said, "If I bet all my money on whether or not you'd make it this far, I'd be a very poor man right now." I have learned many lessons throughout this experience, with three of the most important being 1) The power of prayer is truly amazing and 2) God's will is not always my will (I had a hard time accepting this one) and 3) God will carry you when you are too weak to walk on your own feet. This whole pregnancy has been extremely difficult and trying, but I feel blessed to have experienced it AND that it's almost over. Only one more full day to go and we will finally get to meet our three babies! I have a feeling that tomorrow is going to drag on and on and on...

Erin and Jacob,
Your long awaited journey is finally coming to an end. This will probably be the longest 24 hours you will experience, but well worth the wait! And what joy!!
You have my prayers that all will go well tomorrow, and your physical and emotional healing will begin.

Erin,

What a joy it has been to read your comments! You are an amazing young woman. I am your mom's cousin, Annelle.

It is so exciting to think of those three little ones making their appearance into the world tomorrow. Will never forget seeing cousin, Connie's three babies after they were born!

Your babies are going to be blessed to have you for their mom, Erin.

My prayer group has been praying for you and the babies.

God bless you all,

Annelle

I know it's hard to imagine NOW but you really will miss being pregnant a few months from now! Try to rest tonight and get some sleep--try to memorize what all those little kicks and squirms feel like. The countdown is ON!
