Out for Dinner!

We decided to be brave and take the kids out for dinner - at a real sit-down place, not the Wendy's, Burger King, or Taco Bell drive-thru! I swear we got some sideways looks when we came in and asked for 3 highchairs; they must have thought we were crazy! But amazingly, the kids behaved so well. We brought along lots of little finger foods to keep them busy, and when they finished their food, they played with (chewed on) the plastic lids to their cups and the coasters. There was lots of pounding on the table, throwing food on the floor, and excited shrieking. Thankfully we were sitting in an isolated corner, so we didn't annoy other diners. I have waited SO long to go be able to go out as a family and was so happy we gave it a try.
