Look who's walking!!

We have our first walker...and our second too!

Let me start by saying that Kate is a Daddy's girl. She LOVES her Daddy.

Jacob had to go to Alaska for a few days last week for work. Kate really missed him (we all did actually). When Jacob walked in the door after being gone for a few days, Kate happened to be standing in the middle of the room. Her face lit up and she started shrieking with excitement when she saw him. She was so excited that she took her first steps towards him! We were thrilled and hooted and cheered her on. What a welcome home surprise for Daddy!

She's still pretty wobbly and can only do a few steps at a time, but SHE'S WALKING!!!! MY TINY LITTLE BABY GIRL IS WALKING!!

The next day happened to be Jacob's 30th birthday. That evening we were all sitting on the floor watching Jacob open some presents and all of a sudden, Reece stood up and walked over to Daddy to see what he was opening. We were shocked and Reece acted like it was no big deal. He wasn't wobbly and looked like he had been walking forever. That was Reece's birthday present for Daddy.

That means I have TWO WALKERS!!!!

Can you tell I'm excited (and scared)!?

Chase isn't far behind. He can stand on his own (briefly), cruise along the furniture and walk behind things he is pushing. He likes to rearrange the chairs and the highchairs in the kitchen and pushes them all over the place. It won't be long before I am shouting that I have three walkers!
