A Bunch of Wild Animals

And I'm not referring to the kids here (although they do act like wild animals most of the time).

Aunt Allison (my sister) took us to the Woodland Park Zoo on Saturday. The weather couldn't have been more perfect; it was 65 degrees with clear blue skies. We didn't even have to wear our jackets!

This was the kids' first time at a zoo. I don't think they were too impressed. I'm thinking they are probably still a bit young for the zoo, but it was a good experience nonetheless.

Can you spot a monkey in this picture?
Hint: He's wearing orange :)

See the tiger?
That's right. He's in the Phillies shirt. Rooowwhhrrr.

Milk and cheese snack break.
The kids were far more interested in the crows they spied while having their snacks than any other animal we saw. They kept pointing to the crows in the trees saying "buh" (bird).

After and hour and a half in the car, strapped in their carseats and then another hour strapped in the stroller cruising around the zoo, they were in desperate need of a stretch-your-legs break. So we let them roam around in the grass for a bit. This was their favorite part.It was a good day.
