Day 224. Freedom!

Aunt Amy graciously offered to watch our kiddos for two nights so Jacob and I could take a much-needed getaway.

We love our kids dearly and cherish (almost) every minute we get with them,
but sometimes Mama and Daddy need a break, desperately.

We were so excited to get a vacation to ourselves that we dropped the kids off with Amy early this morning and immediately hit the road to Whistler, BC.

Boy oh boy, did we enjoy every precious kid-less second.
No dealing with tantrums.
No changing poopy underwear.
No refereeing fights.
No cutting up food into tiny bite-sized pieces.
No worrying that curious hands were going to break things in stores.
Ah, sweet freedom.
