Day 270. Christmas Child.

To help teach the kids about giving to others, I had them participate in our church's annual "Operation: Christmas Child" this year.

I took them shopping and had them each choose items (toys, toothpaste, soap, etc) to fill a "shoebox" to give to a child in need. 

This was a hard lesson for them. 

While they were happy to pick out gifts for another child, they wanted to pick out an equal amount of stuff for themselves as well.

After a few meltdowns in the store, they proudly delivered them to the church.
