We received a deep-fryer as a Christmas gift a few years back and decided this was the year to give it a try and deep-fry our turkey for Thanksgiving.
Jacob put a lot of effort into cooking the bird,
unfortunately it did not turn out so well.
Instead of being moist and juicy, it was more like turkey jerkey.
He was very disappointed.
Luckily Grandpa Bill and Grandma Judy brought over a traditional baked turkey and saved Thanksgiving dinner!
Better luck next year :)
