27 weeks
Today marks the start of my 27th week carrying these babies. Our biggest goal is to get to 28 weeks (and beyond) as the babies' survival rate will have dramatically increased by then. I will feel so much better next week knowing that if they have to be born, they will most likely be okay. I have been working so hard to pack in the food/protein to help the babies gain weight and was quite disappointed today to find that I only gained one pound in the last week. The nurse said it is probably because I am losing a lot of my muscle mass. I hope she's right and that I will find later this week when they do the ultrasound that the babies have gained a bunch of weight. Who would of ever thought that I would be disappointed about NOT gaining weight!?

Erin...it's aunit NEL! I am so proud of you for staying in the hospital. I probably would have said, "Screw you I'm going home. I will come back when I am in labor." Don't worry about everyone's rude comments, people have nothing else better to do. Take care and keep up this blog, it's amazing! My mom didn't look very big when she was pregnant either, and had two healthy 8 pound babies! We are just tall girls, the babies just want to be close to your heart that's all. Good luck and hope to see you soon! XOXO Natalie Meyer!
I mean auntie! oops!
