Hallelujah!!!

For the past 2 nights, they've slept through the night! That means the whole family has gotten about 7-8 hours of continuous sleep, except me because I wake every hour listening and waiting for them to cry! But still...ahhhhhh, what a relief. The staying asleep for any extended period of time only works as long as they are swaddled tight and can't maneuver their little arms free from their mummy-like swaddles; a flailing arm breaking free of the swaddle wakes up baby and crying is sure to follow.

Chase may have been asleep momentarily, but the arm he had weasled free was sure to wake him up at a moment's notice. And no, he is not sleeping in a torture device, this is his "rocket ship" which is a 45 degree foam wedge that he sleeps in so that his reflux doesn't bother him. The straps are so that he doesn't fall out while he is flying through space.
Reece gets the crib all to himself and likes knowing that his binky is close by while he is sleeping and that Mom or Dad will come running when he cries to put it in his mouth.
Princess Kate also has to sleep in a foam wedge for reflux, but her's is a "throne" that keeps her majesty quite cozy and comfortable.

Erin,
I don't know if you remember me or not, but I emailed you a few times before you got pregnant. When you were pregnant I was getting updates from Tina and now I just follow the blog myself. I have been praying for you guys. Your kids are absolutely beautiful, adorable, handsome, whatever you want to say, they are incredible.
Take Care,
Stacey
