Here we go again...
We're all for teaching our kids to share, but we are not pleased that they are starting out by sharing their germs. We've been super fanatic about sterilizing, sanitizing, spraying lysol on everything, washing our hands so much that they are dry and cracking, keeping all burp rags, blankets, binkies, etc. separate, but nonetheless, sickness has spread like wildfire. We ended up back at the Children's Hospital ER on Saturday, but this time with our poor little Chase Man. He had the exact same symptoms as Reece with the diarrhea andvomiting (my face was fortunate enough to be the recipient of the vomit) and his temperature spiked to 102.7 at home. Luckily this time, they just ran blood and urine tests, no spinal fluid, and everything came back negative for infection. After some persuasion, they agreed not to admit him into the hospital because there was nothing they could do for him there that we could not do at home: tylenol every 4 hours for the fever and lots of fluids. So, thankfully we are all at home together. I was up most of the night, feeding him every 2 hours and making sure he got his tylenol every four hours so that his fever didn't get out of control. He seems to be doing better; the fever is much lower and he is tolerating larger amounts in his bottle. This has not been a fun 2 weeks and we are praying that we don't need to reserve a spot for Kate at Children's Hospital next weekend!

Oh what a cute picture! I notice Chase's red lips. That was always a tell tale sign my kids had a fever. We're praying for all 5 of you. We love you bunches!
