A few weeks before Christmas, we took the kids to see Santa at the Alderwood Mall. I knew it probably wouldn't go well, but every kid needs a screaming picture with Santa, right? Santa was very authentic looking, with a real beard, which Kate enjoyed pulling. I was a little taken aback when I saw the size of Santa's lap. I mean, the guy had a huge belly that overhung his legs and his legs were little sticks, leaving little room for 3 babies to sit on his lap! Chase sat on one leg and screamed the minute he saw Santa until I picked him up and Santa was no longer in his sight. Kate and Reece sat on Santa's other leg, with poor little Kate wedged in between Reece and Santa's big belly with her skirt hiked up to her waist. Reece didn't quite know what to make of the situation and had his best "duh" face on. Santa's helper was able to snap one quick picture before Kate started falling off of Santa's lap and I yelled, "Done!"
Better luck next year, I guess.

Awesome picture! Love the new background and Santa's outfit. He sure has his hands and lap full of beautiful babies. They look absolutely adorable!!
Great picture! Love the "duh" look and Chase's "mommy... help!" look. Kate looks like a Santa pro!
