Day 35. Cherry Chip.

My family (Mom, Ken, Allison, Zach, Chrissa and Haiden) came over for an early birthday celebration for me today. The kids were so excited and went buck wild, which is usually the case when we have company.

 

My mom has made me a cherry chip cake with sour cherry balls on top almost every year for my birthday for as long as I can remember.  I wait all year long for it and was so happy that she made me one once again this year. The kids seemed to enjoy it almost as much as me this year, but I only gave them a tiny sliver so I could have more to myself :)
