Day 150. Manual Labor.

Today was day one of Operation: Topsoil.
We had 130 yards (that's 8 dump trucks!) of dirt delivered in our front yard that had to be moved and spread in the backyard.
Thankfully, Amy, Frank, Bill and Judy all offered their help because the job was HUGE.
Judy watched the kids and kept them out of our hair and Frank operated the skid steer while Amy, Bill, Jacob and I all raked out the piles of dirt.
We shoveled and raked and shoveled and raked All. Day. Long.

Although it looks like Amy is having a snack while the rest of us rake, she was actually just getting a drink of water. It was the only picture I have of all of us working together :)
The wooden frame is the where the kids' play area/swing set will be going.

We ended up spreading about 6 dump trucks worth of dirt today and are totally exhausted and have some seriously sore muscles.
We are SO thankful for all of the help!
