The kids' first day of swim lesson was today and although they've had swim lessons before, this is the first time they get to do lessons without Mommy and Daddy in the pool with them! Wu hoo!
When the swim instructor asked Chase his name, he replied, "Ceem." (his nickname)
"Sam?" she asked.
"No, Ceem." he repeated.
"Sean?" she guessed.
"NO, CEEM!" he yelled.
She then looked over at me with questioning eyes and raised eyebrows, to which I replied,
"It's Chase."
She then moved on to Kate and asked for her name, to which Kate said, "Booton." (her nickname)
I quickly intervened and said, "It's Kate."
Kate then adamantly hollered, "NO, MY NAME IS BOOTON!"
Luckily when she asked Reece his name, he gave her his real name so we didn't have to go through the whole name game a third time.
