We had to break down and buy a new stroller. Previously we had been using a double stroller and a single stroller that held their car seats. The downside to that was that I could not take them anywhere by myself and they have pretty much outgrown their car seats (which means we also have to buy new car seats soon!
Uugghhhh.) The plus side was that we didn't draw too much attention in public; if Jacob and I walked apart from each other, no one could even tell we had triplets. So now with the new stroller, we make quite a spectacle wherever we go. It gets so annoying. But at least I can go places with them by myself! We've been quite adventuresome and have gotten out a lot in the past few weeks.
We went an visited one of my best friends, Dani, at Evergreen hospital. She is there on bed rest as she awaits the arrival of her twin girls. It was a bit surreal going back there and being in reversed roles with her - her in the bed and me sitting in the purple recliner. It brought back a flood of memories. Can't say I miss that place. But it was so good to get to visit with Dani.
Unfortunately we couldn't stay long because Reece is now going through an "I hate strangers and strange places" phase.
We've gone to the library for baby story hour. Turns out it was more like baby play hour, which they loved. Aunt Amy went with us to help out, thank goodness!

We went to the park and looked at the water. Reece did not appreciate this and Kate ate sand.

We've even been going to church and leaving the kids in the nursery. They all HATE this, but we think it's good for them.
And then there have been the countless trips to Target, Costco, and Babies R Us.
It's nice to get out!
