One of the unfortunate downsides of having siblings is that disagreements often result in bodily harm, including being bitten. We've been working hard to teach them that biting is absolutely unacceptable for almost a year now and while the incidents have become fewer and farther between, there are times when the impulse to bite still rears it's ugly head (or teeth).
Take today, for example. The kids ran upstairs to watch the excavator outside from Reece's bedroom window. They started fighting over who got to open the window shades. Pushing ensued and when that didn't solve the problem, Reece's cheek got bitten by his dear brother.
Tears flowed, time out was assigned, lectures were given, and hugs and apologies were exchanged. Unfortunately experience has taught me that this was probably not the last time we will find ourselves playing out this same scene.

Oh, I'm glad we're not the only ones with this issue! Poor guy! I'm glad I found your blog. You're brave to commit to the 365 posts. We need to get together (maybe without kids, wouldn't that be a treat).
