Our weekly trips to the library are hit or miss. Some weeks we go in, pick out a pile of books, check them out, and quietly head out the door. People passing by even comment on how well behaved my little angels are, while I just grin and think, "Oh, if you only knew..."
Other weeks we are like a tornado storming through the library where the kids fight over books, run away from me, and one, two or all three of them throw a screaming temper tantrum on the floor. If looks could kill, the other library patrons would most definitely have assassinated us by now.
Luckily, though, today was a hit. I even managed to get the kids to sit still for a little bit and look at the books they selected.
