So far they've tried rice cereal, sweet potatoes, bananas, carrots, peas, and pears and have loved all of them. They eat and eat until I stop giving it to them. I think they would eat until they threw up if I let them. I hope this is not an indication of how their appetites will be later down the road - we will be spending a fortune in groceries! They all try to grab the spoon out of my hand and "help" when I am feeding them. This is not helpful. Food ends up everywhere - eyebrows, hair, ears, I even found some carrots stuck up on the cabinet the other day. They also are very eager to hold their own sippy cups and grab at them when I give them water. We always end up with soaking wet clothes. I usually give them the empty sippy cups to play with after the meal is over so they can practice using them. Here are pictures of them "practicing" this morning after they had eaten their cereal.
Kate still hasn't quite figured out which part the water comes out of, but she knows some part of the sippy cup goes in her mouth.
