Footloose and fancy-free

I would call myself ultra-organized; others may call me anal. Yes, I do keep a pee/poop chart (for the babies - not Jacob and me - ewww, that would be gross) so that I know who has pooped and who is backed-up. And yes, I do keep a sleep journal so I know who has napped when and for how long. And, yes I do like my babies to be well-dressed and color-coordinated. Yes, I have a strict schedule that we stick to like glue every single day. A little neurotic, probably, but it helps keep things sane around here.

I don't know if it's because it's summer or the fact that our lives have turned into a total state of disarray the last week with our house being on the market, but the charts, schedules, and any attempts at organization have flown out the window. If they poop, they poop. If they sleep, they sleep. We were doing baths every other night, now we're lucky if we can squeeze one in every 2 or 3 days. Clothes? Why bother? They're just going to get slobbered on and covered in spit-up and baby food anyways. (Again, I'm talking about the kids here, people.) I'm enjoying the 'go with the flow' way of life right now, but I must admit that I can't wait until our house is sold, we are all moved and can get back to being 'normal' again.
