Well our house is officially on the market, which has made life even harder than it already was. Now not only do we have to juggle triplets and 2 dogs, we also have to keep the house spotless and clutter-free and be ready to vacate at a moment's notice. This is highly stressful. Take yesterday for example...
A guy had an appointment to see the house at 10:00 am, so the night before we cleaned and cleaned and got everything ready for the morning. The next day, I did the normal morning stuff, plus packed all of the baby and dog gear into the garage (highchairs, jumperoos, chairs, swing, dog kennel, dog beds, etc), vaccuumed, dusted and then packed EVERYONE into the car along with all of the things they would need for a whole day out (boppies, blankets, formula, food, bibs, toys, dog food, dog bed, leashes) ALL BY MYSELF. I ran back into the house to do a double check that I didn't forget any thing and found the pack & play still set up in our room, so I tried to disassemble the thing and couldn't figure it out and got so frustrated because the kids and dogs were already in the car alone, that I managed to half-way disassemble the thing and slam it into the back of the car. I was dripping sweat.
Then on the way to Grandma Judy's, I look back and Daisy is standing on top of Reece in his car seat so that she can see out the window. So I'm driving, yelling at the dog and Kate is screeching in the way back. It was an absolute nightmare.
So by the time we get to Grandma's everyone is screaming and the dogs are going crazy. It was time for feeding and then a nap. Grandma has 2 extra pack & plays at her house, but we could not for the life of us get one of them set up. We tried and tried and then my best friend, Dani, came over to help out and she tried and tried. None of us could get the stupid thing set up and we were all sweating profusely. So we eventually gave up and Kate had to nap on the floor.
We spent the whole day at Grandma's and then when we finally got home that evening, the darn guy with the appointment had never come to see the house! ARRRGGGGHHHHH!!! This bites.
