A Month in the Life: Day 9

Today's mission was to try and find a way to keep the kitchen drawers shut so the kids stop taking out everything they can get their little hands on (batteries, silverware, coupons, towels, etc.). We already have the latches on all of the cabinets and drawers, but they don't work so well. We had to rubber band all of the cabinet knobs together to stop them from getting into those, but that doesn't work for the drawers.

So I packed everyone up and we headed out to Babies R Us to look for some kind of latches or magnets to hold the drawers shut.
Look at these big kids in their forward-facing car seats!!
 WHEEEEE!!!

Our mission was not successful, however. All we could find were the latches we already have - the ones that don't work. Then Reece threw a whopping fit in the store, so we had to high-tail it outta there. I must've exhausted Chase because he slept the whole way home.

All was not lost, though. As Reece was screaming, I did manage to buy the kids the Little People Animal Sounds Farm. That ended up keeping them busy enough when we got home that they forgot all about he kitchen drawers - for now.
